Goodbye everybody, I've got to go!!

So it's been a while since i've written and a semester has past! I feel like at the end of every semester at Cal, I say "I think that was the BEST semester i've had so far!" This fall was no exception. I moved into a brand new environment, a crazy co-op called CZ, and subsequently witnessed the rise of my alcohol tolerance and the decline of my cleanliness standards. This semester had a lot of highs and lows, with crazy partying and suicidal studying/writing, but I I had so much fun, and made soooooo many new friends (and lovers)! I must say, I regret nothing.

Now it's the beginning of a new decade, and the beginning of a new adventure in my life! ITALY. I'm leaving for Bologna on Jan 5th and won't be back in the US til Aug 9th!! I've never been away from home that long, let alone across the world, but I just know it'll be good :) I can't believe I'll be living, breathing, eating, studying in Italy! This is really a dream coming true...though from the start of college I set my sights on studying abroad, I always doubted the possibility of it happening. Even now, three days before I leave, I've packed my bags and I still can't believe it's happening!! I'm nervous but extremely excited, of course. How could I not be?! First thing to tackle when I get there is finding an apartment, then dealing with classes. I'm also hoping to find an internship *fingers crossed* at the MAMBO (modern art museum in Bologna) or in London for when I finish exams and stay with my sister! Easier said than done (though not even that easily said in Italian), so we'll have to see!

Alright, I've started up blogging again as a way to share some of my pictures and hopefully some good stories. It'll also be a nice way to remember my trip later on....So, the next time I post it'll be from Bologna!! Until then, ciao!
